Monta Ellis of the Golden State Warriors was suspended for lying to Golden State officials about a low-speed mo-ped accident in late August. He told the staff that he had rolled his ankle in a pickup game in his home state of Mississippi, only admitting the truth several days later. Back in July, Ellis agreed to a six year deal worth $66 million with the Warriors. Today, turns out he's SUSPENDED for the first 30 games of the season, no pay, estimating to about $3 million. SMH.
